03/07/10... Another "Frostbite" show under out belt... it was our 12th annual! The weather was nice, the volunteers were awesome, and the competitors were great. Everyone had a great time. Check out the "our shows" page for award winners and complete results. As a barn, we had Hayley Linton on Coppertone win the "Farewell B Memorial Trophy" and qualify for the SWDC championships in the fall at Training Level. Kendall Raisbeck and "Las Vegas" went to their first recognized dressage show and qualified for the USDF and SWDC fall championships at first level.

02/07/10... At the Pine Hill show today, Kendall and "Las Vegas" moved up a level to compete at novice for the first time. They actually had some time faults for going a bit too fast on cross country, but had no jumping faults and had a good dressage score so finished up with the first place ribbon!

02/06/10...Congratulations to Freestyle Farm Junior Riders, Hayley Linton and Toni Gee.
Hayley won the 2009 HDS Year End Championship for Training Level at Schooling Shows,
and Toni won the 2009 Year End Championship for First Level at Schooling Shows.
Way to go, girls! (and of course Coppertone and PX Royal Fancy Pants!)

11/22/09...Kendall and Gus have another 'first", they participated in their first U.S. Pony Club Dressage Rally over the weekend. Her team won their division, Kendall and Gus won the high score award for their musical freestyle at first level, and Kendall and her teammate Toni Gee qualified for Pony Club National Championships in dressage next summer.

11/16/09...Congratulations to Cheryl Carter, her new horse "Valiance" has arrived! He is a 7 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding, schooling third level. He is such a nice mover and a real people lover!

10/04/09... Kendall and Gus ("Las Vegas") competed at their very first horse trials, at Pine Hill in Bellville. They received the best dressage score of the day, 26.8 penalty points, then went clean in both stadium jumping and cross country, so they won their division! :)

8/20/09... Congratulations to Gon Stevens and Linda Middleton on the purchases of their newhorses,Vasco and Donnertanz, respectively. They've landed in New York from Amsterdam and are now on their way to Fulshear!! :) Vasco is a third level Dutch gelding by Gribaldi, and Donnertanz is a fourth level Oldenburg gelding by De Niro (Donnerhall). Vasco is pictured above, I'll add one of Donnertanz when I get one!

8/15/09... Kendall has a new eventing partner, "Gus", aka "Las Vegas". Gus is a very talented 12 yo Thoroughbred gelding who Kendall hopes to compete in the novice division, and hopefully move up the levels in the next few years. Piglet has prepared Kendall well to undertake this new partnership!

7/26/09...San Jacinto Pony Clubbers Becky Brake, Toni Gee, and Kendall Raisbeck (above) travelled to Lexington, Virginia to represent the Rio Grande Region of Texas at the United States Pony Club National Championships in dressage. And their team WON the championship!! Amazing job, girls! :)

7/20/09...Kendall Raisbeck rode Farewell B (above) at the Windy Knoll Summer Show, and was First
Level Champion (66.053%) on day one, and Junior High Point winner (68%) on day two.

6/14/09...
Michelle Spencer took Debbie Pate's Hannoverian gelding, Rufus, to the HDS Summer show and rode the Prix St. Georges for the first time (her first and his), and they won the Amateur PSG both days!! They also won a Fourth Level class, and are now just one score away from earning Michelle's USDF Silver Medal!
Kendall Raisbeck took Alyce Rowland's German Riding Pony, Farewell B, for her first USDF recognized dressage show. They won two classes and were second in a third class, and are now planning on going to the USDF/USEF/SWDC Championships in the fall.
Toni Gee took her pony, PX Royal Fancy Pants, to the show as well, and they are now qualified for the championships at Training Level, and are one score away from qualifying for First Level.
Congrats everyone! :)

3/29/09... Gon Stevens got her last score toward her USDF Bronze Medal at the Topsider Farm show today! Now she's got a bronze to go with her silver medal. Congratulations, Gon!!

3/15/09... Kendall Raisbeck riding Farewell B won the large Jackpot Class at the Solstice Farms St. Patty's Day Schooling Show, and actually brought home $300 for the win!! They were also HDS Junior High Point winners with a 76%.

3/8/09... Gon Stevens riding Farewell B was the Second Level Champion at the Frostbite
Show, as well as the Adult Amateur High Point Rider.
