Click here to see all of our USDF medalists 03/07/10... Another "Frostbite" show under out belt... it was our 12th annual! The weather was nice, the volunteers were awesome, and the competitors were great. Everyone had a great time. Check out the "our shows" page for award winners and complete results. As a barn, we had Hayley Linton on Coppertone win the "Farewell B Memorial Trophy" and qualify for the SWDC championships in the fall at Training Level. Kendall Raisbeck and "Las Vegas" went to their first recognized dressage show and qualified for the USDF and SWDC fall championships at first level.
02/06/10...Congratulations
to Freestyle Farm Junior Riders, Hayley Linton and Toni Gee. 11/22/09...Kendall and Gus have another 'first", they participated in their first U.S. Pony Club Dressage Rally over the weekend. Her team won their division, Kendall and Gus won the high score award for their musical freestyle at first level, and Kendall and her teammate Toni Gee qualified for Pony Club National Championships in dressage next summer.
11/16/09...Congratulations to Cheryl Carter, her new horse "Valiance" has arrived! He is a 7 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding, schooling third level. He is such a nice mover and a real people lover!
10/04/09... Kendall and Gus ("Las Vegas") competed at their very first horse trials, at Pine Hill in Bellville. They received the best dressage score of the day, 26.8 penalty points, then went clean in both stadium jumping and cross country, so they won their division! :)
8/20/09... Congratulations to Gon Stevens and Linda Middleton on the purchases of their newhorses,Vasco and Donnertanz, respectively. They've landed in New York from Amsterdam and are now on their way to Fulshear!! :) Vasco is a third level Dutch gelding by Gribaldi, and Donnertanz is a fourth level Oldenburg gelding by De Niro (Donnerhall). Vasco is pictured above, I'll add one of Donnertanz when I get one! 8/15/09... Kendall has a new eventing partner, "Gus", aka "Las Vegas". Gus is a very talented 12 yo Thoroughbred gelding who Kendall hopes to compete in the novice division, and hopefully move up the levels in the next few years. Piglet has prepared Kendall well to undertake this new partnership!
7/26/09...San Jacinto Pony Clubbers Becky Brake, Toni Gee, and Kendall Raisbeck (above) travelled to Lexington, Virginia to represent the Rio Grande Region of Texas at the United States Pony Club National Championships in dressage. And their team WON the championship!! Amazing job, girls! :)
3/29/09... Gon Stevens got
her last score toward her USDF Bronze Medal at the Topsider Farm show
